As some of you might know, I’m recording and I have played all the 32 sonatas of Beethoven in Paris, Lund, Malmö, Helsingborg, Tingsryd, Linköping and Växjö. More cities to come. Next up is Uppsala.
I have a Beethoven-site where I go through the work with all the sonatas.

Hi
Your bold effort to play all the 32 pianos sonatas with opus nos. by LVB is commendable. You might want to include LVB’s sonatas and sonatinas without opus nos. and the monumental Diabelli Variations. Op. 106 should be a warhorse, one of the most technically difficult solo piano pieces of all time. The fugal elements of the last 5 will always be challenging. The aerial beauty of the opening of Op. 109 is delightful. The fury of the Appasionata and the presto agitato finale of Op. 14, no. 2 will always remain challenging. The programmatic characters of the “Tempest” and “Farewell Op. 81a” is a nostalgia of many moments of everyone’s life. Go for all of these and Im sure you will do well.
Great idea! Stockholm is a very beautifull city…
Good idea! Please tell us as soon as you know dates and places for the concerts!
Take care!
